The Claymore is the official newsletter of the Scottish Deerhound Club of America (SDCA). Published 6 times per year, the Claymore contains a wealth of information about Deerhounds. Typical issues include reports from the US regions, Canada, and Europe, articles on Deerhound health and husbandry, litter announcements, and plenty of photographs of Deerhounds.

The Claymore also contains information about future events, such as National and Regional specialties, supported entries, and lure coursing.
